Can You See The Cute Frog???

This lovely frog was found on my back deck in a chair a few weeks ago.

What's so fascina-ting is that the frog is the SAME color as the chair. At first, I didn't notice the frog, then he/she moved and, to my surprise, holy macaroni, not only was there a chair but, also, a lovely living frog.
Actually, I was pulling trash from the chair, when the TRASH began moving - nearly peed on myself. LOLOL

The frog has long since escaped.

Mahatma Gandhi Quote

JOKE OF THE DAY

One day, at a bus stop there was a girl who was wearing a skintight miniskirt. When the bus arrived and it was her turn to get on, she realized that her skirt was so tight she couldn't get her foot high enough to reach to step. Thinking it would give her enough slack to raise her leg, she reached back and unzipped her skirt a little. She still could not reach the step. Embarrassed, she reached back once again to unzip it a little more. Still, she couldn't reach the step. So, with her skirt zipper halfway down, she reached back and unzipped her skirt all the way. Thinking that she could get on the step now, she lifted up her leg only to realize that she still couldn't reach the step. So, seeing how embarrassed the girl was, the man standing behind her put his hands around her waist and lifted her up on to the first step of the bus. The girl turned around furiously and said, "How dare you touch my body that way, I don't even know you!" Shocked, the man says, "Well, ma'am, after you reached around and unzipped my fly three times, I kinda figured that we were friends."

JOKE OF THE DAY

The librarian decides that the chickens desire three books, and gives it to them...and the chickens leave shortly thereafter.Around midday, the two chickens return to the circulation desk quite vexed and say,' Buk Buk BuKKOOK!' The librarian decides that the chickens desire another three books and gives it to them. The chickens leave as before. The two chickens return to the library in the early afternoon, approach the librarian, looking very annoyed and say, 'Buk Buk Buk Buk Bukkooook!' The librarian is now a little suspicious of these chickens. She gives them what they request, and decides to follow them. She followed them out of the library, out of the town, and to a park. At this point, she hid behind a tree, not wanting to be seen. She saw the two chickens throwing the books at a frog in a pond, to which the frog was saying, "Rrredit Rrredit Rrredit..."

JOKE OF THE DAY

A newlywed farmer and his wife were visited by her mother, who immediately demanded an inspection of the place. While they were walking through the barn, the farmer's mule suddenly reared up and kicked the mother-in-law in the head, killing her instantly. At the funeral service a few days later, the farmer stood near the casket and greeted folks as they walked by. The pastor noticed that whenever a woman would whisper something to the farmer, he would nod his head "Yes" and say something. Whenever a man walked by and whispered to the farmer, he would shake his head, "No" and mumble a reply. Curious, the pastor later asked the farmer what that was all about. The farmer replied, ''The women would say, 'What a terrible tragedy' and I would nod my head and say, 'Yes, it was.' The men would ask, 'You wanna sell that mule?' and I would shake my head and say, 'Can't. It's all booked up for a year.'"

JOKE OF THE DAY

A couple returned from their honeymoon and it's obvious to everyone that they are not talking to each other. The groom's best man takes him aside and asks him what is wrong.Well, replied the groom, after the first night of our honeymoon, I got up to go to the bathroom an I put a $100 bill on the pillow without thinking.Oh, you shouldn't worry about that too much, said his friend. I'm sure your wife will get over it soon enough. She can't expect you to have been alone all these years. The groom nodded gently and said, I don't know if I can get over this, though. She gave me $75 change back!!!

Joke: Lets Go Bowling!

Two bowling teams, one all blondes, one all bruneettes, charter a double-decker bus for a weekend bowling tournament in Atlantic City. The brunette team rides on the bottom level of the bus, the blonde team rides on the top level. The brunette team, down below, is wooping it up and having a great time until one of them realizes she doesn't hear anything from the blondes upstairs, and she decides to investigate. When the brunette reaches the top, she finds the blonde team staring straight ahead at the road, frozen in fear, clutching the seats in front of them with white knuckles. "Whats going on up here?" asks the brunette. "We're having a great time downstairs!" "Yeah," screams a terrified blonde, "but you've got a driver!"

Veggie Burger Recipe

serves 2-4 and is easily doubled
make substitutions as necessary

Cooked, drained, Black Eyed Peas (about 15 1/2 ounces)
1 medium Shallot finely minced
1 Scallion chopped
2 cloves Garlic minced
3 Tbl Parsley chopped
1/4 Tsp Chili Sauce
6 oz. Crimini Mushrooms chopped
1/2 cup Toasted Walnuts chopped
2 Tbl Olive oil
salt and pepper
1/2 Cup Flour
Oil for frying

Mash Black Eyed Peas in a bowl. Add shallots, scallion, parsley, and chili sauce. Heat a skillet on medium heat. Add Olive Oil. Wait a few seconds and add mushrooms. Saute just a few minutes until nicely browned but not cooked down. Add toasted walnuts, garlic, and saute for about a minute. Remove from heat and add to pea mixture. Blend well with a fork or hands. The mixture should be a little dry and easily shaped into patties. Form patties to desired size.

Heat a heavy skillet, cast iron is best with a good coating of vegetable oil. Put the half cup of flour on a dish. Take each burger and dredge in flour. Place in hot skillet and cook until a nice brown crispy coating appears. Turn carefully. When done, place on a bun with your favorite burger toppings, or serve with a salad.

Goes great with a side of Fries or Mashed Potatoes too.
